1995
Klaus Gerull founded the company K&M Gerull Anlagen u. Gebäudetechnik at the age of 28. Right from the start he was busy on construction sites throughout Germany, for electrical and mechanical systems in shopping malls and manufacturing plants. Including operations in precision engineering sites as well as installations and maintenance of high-voltage lines on long-distance transport networks.
2006
The beginning of something great .. the first operations on critical infrastructures. Maintenance and repairs of busbar systems, switching gear and distribution systems in medium and high-voltage facilities, amongst others. Replacements, upgrade and transfer work of system relevant appliances, including critical short-term operations.
2020
Extension of the service portfolio by officially adding mechanical construcutions, such as the installation of racks, cable trays, containments and secured cage systems, primary on the data center white space.
2023
The son Marcel takes over responsibility and Kevin Krug joins by adding broad experience in the data center field. Under the new name Gerull Kritische Systeme (Critical Systems) a new chapter is about to come, with the clear focus on critical infrastructures of today and tomorrow.
Klaus won’t disappear entirely, he’s still supporting the company with his enormous experience of the past 30 years, just a little bit more from the background.
